Roadjet gave first glimpse
Model for the 2016 Audi A3 Vario is the Roadjet concept car, which was developed under the former CTO Ulrich Hackenberg and presented at the 2006 Detroit Auto Show. Audi describes the car as close-to-time mix of Avant and Sportback. Despite positive feedback Audi has built instead of the 70 mm shorter Roadjet and 100 mm higher Audi Q5. The name Vario Audi deliberately distanced themselves from the term of the van, which is generally for a period of life car. Audi A3 Vario is however for versatility and economy, sportiness and practicality, and sense of flair
stand.

Complete range of engines + plug-in hybrid
Almost the entire A3 engine range also comes in the Vario is used. New features include the 211-hp two-liter petrol engine and the top diesel with 180 hp. The S version makes 280 hp from two liters of displacement. All machines meet even in conjunction with quattro and a double clutch transmission, the EU6 emissions standard. When you think green, the future has to choose between a 110-hp gas engine with 1.4 liter displacement and a plug-in hybrids. With this machine, and fully charged batteries, the audi A3 Vario is widely between 40 and 50 km. The batteries power a 108-horsepower electric motor, which is supported when necessary by a 1.4-liter gasoline engine with 150 horsepower.

Fun is fun, but if nobodys showing up for the party, well.....

GM Inside News says its confirmed that Cadillac is dropping the Turbo model of its SRX crossover. Goodbye, 300 horsepower. But also goodbye, 15 miles per gallon city. Which might have a lot to do with it. As might the publicity garnered last spring when more than one of those turbo engines did its impression of a grenade after suffering the indignity of being fed regular fuel rather than premium.
