This new generation of the 308 will most likely be the last of this model have hinted as those responsible for the brand. A car that is nearing the end of its travel and business in this latest version will keep the customs of the house, with the same name and same main engines, although they offer outstanding aesthetic level changes, which is why we see as covered in these spy shots.
Physical characteristics and appearance
The first thing you can see at a glance on your Peugeot 308 2013 is enlarged with respect to the previous version, which has become customary in the evolution of many of the new generation models posing in these months, such as the Volkswagen Golf. This increase in the measures, involves more space inside the cabin due to growth in the size of battle.
Dominant design lines are not far from those advanced by the new generation of the Peugeot 208, marked by these new headlights and smaller classical replacing weevils that had become one of his hallmarks. The changes also affect the back, but the truth is they are not seen in these spy shots too. What is certain is that the license plate will integrated into the rear bumper as was previously the case.
Engines and estimated dates
If the line in terms of the design and the pattern to be followed by the Peugeot 308 2013 is marked by the new 208, the same applies as for the engines, sharing most of them with his little brother, something which we were accustomed. This will ensure that there will be a version GTi with 200 horsepower, with the same qualities of the Peugeot 208 GTi to be presented at the upcoming Paris Motor Show 2012.
For the coming-out of the new generation of the 308 will have to wait much more, as this will not come until next year. It is still unclear whether it will be in the Frankfurt Motor Show or at the latest, in Geneva. Whatever the event finally chosen, this model will become one of the main attractions with the public majority, especially to mark the end of a cycle for Peugeot.
